Our advice is to only buy specific air hockey table polishes and apply a very light, even coat. Once dry, give the table another wipe and polish the surface for a nice glossy finish.

Space Needed for Air Hockey

Believe it or not, the thin layer of dirt actually makes the puck bank properly and keeps it on the table. Once every year, or more often as needed, check the air holes for blockages which will keep the puck from floating properly. Turn the table ON and use a stickpin to pull the dirt UP and out of the air holes.

Air Duct Interference

Some of the most common problems with air ducts are leaks from the supply side, loose or broken ductwork, and kinks in the flex duct. A blockage in your air ducts is the most likely explanation if the weak airflow problem comes on suddenly right after a new installation or repair.

If the table is still not level, check the playing surface. If it is warped, you may need to replace it. Remove the old one and attach the new one securely to the table to replace the playing surface. Make sure it is level and flush with the table.
