Ive used this product before but in smaller size bottles as part of gift sets. You really have to shake bottle to mix the contents properly. It takes all types of make up off, but leaves a slightly oily residue on skin. Found this affected putting foundation on if you were redoing your makeup soon after.

Flawed product design

Terrible product design, not sure how it got past quality control. I am unable to open the lid, it tells you that you need to push down and twist the lid to open but this did not work. I am therefore unable to use the product. I was sent a new bottle and had the same problem. I also know of someone else who had the same problem.

We opened it once the sealed it again only to come back and open it for the cap to be completely stuck everyone tried to open it to no success, a bad design flaw.

I purchased this product with high hopes given Clinique's reputation. I was very disappointed. I used it to try to remove mascara only (a simple enough job) the next morning I woke with "panda eyes". I've complained to Clinique.

This is a great product, it removes all traces of eye/lip makeup fabulously. However the bottle top is terrible, it has a medicine style safety cap that is a battle to remove, I have bruised my hand it is so difficult!! Clinique please change the cap on such a great product

Like others, I think this is an amazing product and I use it constantly but the new top is absolutely hopeless. It surely does not need such a difficult one to open? I have struggled and struggled at times, sometimes being successful but in the end I prised it off and decanted the contents into another container. So, one less star.

WHY THE CHILDPROOF TOP?

I thought I'd try this as I love most of the Clinique range. I took it on holiday but was mortified it had a childproof top. After frantically trying to get the top off I gave it to my husband and he too couldn't get the top off. Fortunately we were staying in a cottage so used a dessert spoon to snap the top off. Needless to say I couldn't bring the bottle home as it would have leaked everywhere. It is a good product but I only used it twice so rather expensive.

Hi I've used this since it was launched and it's great for removing makeup. Now I'm older and have reached menopause I also find it good for removing the adhesive residue left behind after removing my HRT patches. Just hold on a moistened pad for 10-15 seconds and wipe, no more scrubbing, picking and sore skin

As someone with dry skin, I love using this as a makeup remover but I also love how it leaves my skin feeling afterwards. Received it as a sample and I'm glad I did. I'm going to try the cleansing balm but I wish Clinique would bring this out in cleansing/makeup removal wipes. I'd buy them!

Useless bottle top

Very disappointed with this product, I've used it about 4 times and now can't get the top off. I press down as it says on top of the lid, then try to unscrew it, to no avail it keeps clicking as you turn it, but doesn't open, not user friendly at all. My husband has tried to open it to. I guess it must be a faulty top? I'd bought it (along with some other items) to take on holiday, but will have to find a replacement. It's also very wasteful as the top is just open, no dispenser in it. Not what I expect from Clinique!

I really like this i only need a little dot on each side of a cotton pad and my mascara and liquid liner is off in an instant. Nice feel on the skin then I follow my 3step routine. This is a good buy so gentle on the skin and less is more. Would buy again
